Subtle Entrances

This entrance ramp was added to this Southdale family home, increasing access for family members with physical disabilities. The client wanted the ramp to be subtly fit in with the surrounding landscaping, so the ramp was designed as a functional garden feature. The ramp wraps around a planter box, meeting the steps at the front door. Providing both a ramp and steps allows for accessibility when needed, while maintaining more frequent access to stairs.
